The blog which I have chosen to study is set 1 group 3 – Lara

I have chosen to analyse group 3 because it possess an intriguing element through the use of the horror theme which is evident through the background of the blog. Personally, their compelling display seems much more appealing in comparison to the other blogs. Additionally, they illustrated a simple but fascinating blog making it easy for me to navigate. They offered masses amount of information in each of their 80 blog posts, for example they fully explored the idea of target audience and went into detail about the hobbies and interests of an average horror films enthusiast. In their blog, they also gave detailed opinions on what their experiences were like whilst using equipment such as a DV camera and ICT apps like Premier Pro – they explained what was useful about the equipment and ICT apps they used. Their use of GIFs (moving images) for question 1 of their evaluation looks very engaging as it’s unique in terms of being diverse compared to the other blogs. I thought that the title sequence was captivating in terms of bringing the viewer in and engaging them in a variety of ways. For instance, the variation of camera shots produced gives the viewer a different perspective each time which is incredibly helpful for the viewer because it would seem like they’re involved in the title sequence itself.
